I swore I was going to do this monthly….oops, sorry. In truth I don’t think about my blog much anymore, not that I don’t like blogging, I do, a lot, but that there are so many other things that I need to be doing but am not doing that my blog has drifted to the bottom of my to-do list.
How far along? 30 weeks….wow, 7 months along already!
Baby’s size: 15 inches, give or take a few, and almost 3 pounds.
My total chunk-o-meter: Up a whopping 12 pounds. So glad I’m not gaining this time like I did with Derek but I can thank my work and the 8 hours a day I spend on my feet, lifting, walking, bending, pushing and pulling racks around my bakery.
Stretch marks? Nothing more than what Derek left me with though I may sport some new ones soon since I’ve officially “popped”.
Belly button status? Innie. Still
Counting sheep? Sometimes but I’m mostly so tired that it doesn’t take much to get me to go to sleep.
Foods I can’t live without: Sweets. Chocolate in particular. Good thing we have a TON of left over Halloween candy and Thanksgiving/Christmas is around the corner.
Foods I can’t stand: Milk. Gross!
Best moment this month: Bishop got to feel her flipping around in there. Pretty cool.
Worst moment this month: Nothing really. Other than the aches and pains that I expect everyone goes through, though mine seem to be magnified since I’m usually very flexible and the loosing of the joints just makes it work.
Movement? Yeah. Have you ever seen a fish just pulled out of the water and it’s in a net? You know how it flops around, thrashing and flipping all over? That’s what the movement is like. And I’m developing a sore spot where her knee rests…
Gender? GIRL!!!!
What do I miss? Doing all the things pregnant people can’t do.
What I’m looking forward to? Getting off work for more than a couple days in a row. I just managed to get 3 days off in a row but I could still use more.
Milestone: 30 weeks down, 10 weeks to go, 3/4 of the way done!!!
Differences: Lots. I’m still not showing much, in fact, if my mom hadn’t spilled the beans in the check stands at my work (yeah, I work at a grocery store) then most people still wouldn’t know, with Derek I was a house halfway through. No heartburn to speak of (knock on wood) when last time I swore my throat had caught on fire. And last time I stopped losing my hair early, like around 12 weeks, and was so happy about it but this time I’m still losing handfuls. It’s kind of weird.

I can’t believe you only have 10 weeks to go!!!
LMAO @ the fish flopping around. That’s how Mason was, too. Crazy! Be ready – she may HATE to be swaddled when she’s born.
And I so get you on blogging being non-existent on the priority scale. There’s so few hours in the day, & it seems like there a million more important things to do at any given moment.
How’s D adjusting to up-and-coming big brotherness?

I know, 10 weeks seems like nothing. And we’re getting into the super busy time of year at work so I’ll be doing so much time will fly, hopefully.
Derek never liked being swaddled except when his pedi did it, I just couldn’t get him wrapped up right I guess. If little girl doesn’t like it it won’t be anything new for me.
Derek doesn’t seem to understand what is going on but really, the changes around home have been very slight. I really need to clean and organize our room and sort through Derek’s clothes before we set up the crib. Until that’s done I really don’t want to do much setting up since we’ve still got 2 months to go.
